MICROS Alert Manager is a powerful add-on module to MICROS In-Store Solution set that can provide the appropriate personnel immediate visibility on conditions that are not in compliance with the operational standards of the business. The Alert Manager monitors conditions in the RES database and on the RES Server, and compares those conditions with a configurable operational threshold; when the condition is beyond the threshold, the system can send an alert via an on-premise pager, or via an e-mail to an SMTP mail server, which can be routed to blackberry or similar remote e-mail clients.
